Biography

Placido Garcia has always had an interest in magic ever since he was a child. Although his parents never bought him a magic set, he never lost interest. One day in 1997 he was working in a candy store at Woodfield Mall. He noticed a magic kiosk was opening so he went down to see what they had. The first magic trick he bought was called the D'Lites. He mastered the D'lites and amazed his friends. After he learned most of the tricks they sold at the cart the owner offered him a job. He ended up being the #1 salesman in magic, so the manager offered to take him to the world magic seminar in Las Vegas. When he came back, the owner offered him the magic kiosk. He took over the business and changed the name to Hallucination Magic Shop in Woodfield Mall. Through the business he met Marshall Brodien Sr., also known as "Wizzo" on The Bozo Show, and his son Marshall Brodien Jr. He also became friends with Paul Lee and Brett Daniels. Without their help he would never be where he is today. In mid 1999 he started performing shows. Although very new, he has already performed for clients such as Allstate Insurance, Medina Country Club, and Lou Malnati's Pizzeria , just to name a few.

Plaz's shows are breath-taking and entertaining, whether he is strolling or performing stage illusions, he always keeps people in mystery and wanting more.
